This workshop is for massage practitioners who would like to take their practice to the next level. We will focus on lower back, legs, hips, and psoas, which are common problem areas for our clients. We will be presenting advanced stretches and moves that expand your bodywork and deepen your understanding of the body. These moves will integrate well with what you already use in your practice.
Using meditation, visualization and internal exercises we will explore how the practitioners internal state of mind is as important as the massage techniques.
This hands-on format will include traditional Esalen-style long strokes, which give the body a sense of wholeness, as well as incorporate grounding, centering, energy awareness, yoga, and anatomy stretches for specific muscles.

The Ananda is across from Indus Restaurant, secluded in the rice fields, and is a 15 minute walk to central Ubud, the cultural center of Bali.
OVERALL SCHEDULE: Check-in is at the Ananda is June 29. The first Class will be held that evening. The last class is on July 5th and check-out is on July 6th at noon, allowing you plenty of time for closure and to prepare for wherever your next journey leads you.
